Clos La Coutale First In US Malbec Tasting
Congratulations to Clos La Coutale whose 2006 vintage came first in a “Crazy Malbec Tatsing” held at the Thief Wine Shop and Bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: “From the birthplace of Malbec; nice earthy rusticity to it, with dark plum, licorice, and a soft round mouthfeel.”
We are very happy to see that, two weeks away from our first event in the US, French Malbec wines are more and more appreciated by Americans.
A quick reminder: on May 12, from 11:00 to 4:30, the Astor Center will host a seminar and a tasting of about 40 French Malbec wines from Cahors.
