Philippe Faure-Brac won the Best Sommelier of the World Award in 1992. Today Philippe Faure-Brac is as attentive as ever to his restaurant, Bistrot du Sommelier in Paris and is a regular contributor of articles, writing in various magazines. He is also a member of the tasting committee of the "Wines of France" magazine. He takes part weekly in an emission of radio on BFM called "In Vino". |

We spoke with her at the recent Malbec de Cahor tasting at Le Taste monde Restaurant in Paris. Just after tasting several Cahors wines, and just before lunch, we asked her for her impressions of the wines and a guess about what would be on the menu for lunch. |

One of the most famous and best Cahors wines, Château du Cédre, was selected by Antoine Hernandez, sommelier of the Robuchon group for the new Paris store of Joël Robuchon.
