Croix du Mayne 2004 received a Silver Medal at the International Wine Competition held in Houston, texas, during the 2008 Livestock Show and Rodeo.

In its fifth year as a premier attraction, the Rodeo Uncorked! Wine Show attracts wines from across Texas, the United States and throughout the world. The fifth annual International Wine Competition was held on Nov. 10-11, 2007 in Reliant Center, where medals were awarded by wine experts. This year, 1,969 wines from 606 wineries and 16 countries were vying for the prestigious title of Grand Champion Best of Show, and our wine experts awarded 1,544 medals to the group.

The Champion wines are then presented for tasting and awards at the Roundup and Best Bites Competition on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008. The Champion Wine Auction and Dinner will be held March 8, 2008. A reception and the pairing of the champion wines with a special seated dinner begin the exciting evening of bidding for the award-winning wines from the competition. The Champion wine lots are unique, with over-sized etched bottles prepared especially for this event.
