A glass has been designed to taste the Cahors wines. It was designed by the Verrerie d'Arc and is distributed by La Capel.
The technical specifications were presented at the press conference last week in Paris. The R&D engineers of Group Arc International designed a new glass very thin, transparent and shiny. The glass has also a good resistance to shocks and accidents - making it more difficult to break.
The shape is generously rounded up and has a contenance of 35 cl. It allows a drinking comfort stimulating the taste buds.
What about the glass ring inset in the stem? It is the symbol of conviviality and sharing: the consumer inserts a finger in the ring while drinking.
An interesting detail for those of us who like to drink in wine bars and lounges: there is a phosphorent glass available for wine bars that will be presented in Paris at the Musée des Arts décoratifs with Richard on February 11th in the afternoon.
To discover the new Cahors glass, join us at Vinisud on the booth of Group Arc International, Hall 12, allee A, nr. 14 (near the Palais de la Mediterranee).
