A glass of Cahors Malbec a day for your health!

A recent article in the British newspaper <i>The Telegraph</i> (22  November, 2006, G.B.), written by Professor Roger CORDER and entitled « Drink well, eat well, live longer. Really ! », lays emphasis on the role of wine in a lifestyle adapted to this century, which he calls « The wine diet ». <br /><br />Basing his theory on observations of the populations of Crete and Sardinia as well as those <br />living in rural parts of South-western France, the author concludes that eating wholesome <br />food made from fresh produce combined with the daily consumption of a glass of red wine, <br />form the basis of a healthy and balanced diet. And it won’t be those few extra calories that <br />lead to a change in weight.
